The Pella Carbon Coater is a high quality desktop vacuum coating system. This instrument allows 108 series of sputter coaters for both standard SEM and EDS coating. It is also useful for field emission SEM (or FESEM) applications, and providing tight control over a preferred coating thickness through its measurement system. 

Because of its rotary-tilting stage, the coating process can enable better uniformity for topographic samples, or for a larger number of samples. In addition to providing high quality sample preparation, the Pella Carbon Coater focuses on being easy to use.
