A Helmholtz coil connected to a RF generator and the demonstration inductor connected to an oscilloscope will couple inductively when close and when separated, the inductive signal fades, but the RF signal remains fairly constant.

Place each coil hardware on separate carts, so the cart with the generator can be moved away while the oscilloscope cart remains stationary.
