The conservation and transfer of energy is demonstrated by clashing two spheres together separated by a sheet of paper. The kinetic enery of the sphere has been transfered to sound (kinetic energy of the air) and heat, demonstrated by a burned hole in the paper (the smell of burned paper can also be noted).
