Research Interests

  • The main subject of our group's research is an establishing  structure-property relations of a variety of organic chemical, bio chemical and related compounds using the ultra fast optical spectroscopy methods such as two-photon absorption and non-linear transmission spectroscopy. Primarily, we are focused on fluorescent proteins, porphyrins, cyanines, metallo organic complexes, DNA bases and their analogues, and similar compounds that have promising technological applications and can be used as systems for the fundamental research as well.

    Ultra fast Lasers; optical parametric amplification;nonlinear optics;laser spectroscopy;light-matter interaction on nanoscale;photophysics of genetically modified proteins;photochemical processes in cyanines, metallo organic complexes, DNA bases and their analogues, and similar compounds that have promising technological applications and can be used as systems for the fundamental research as well.
