Conductive Polymers
PEDOT/PSS (Baytron® P) 3,4-polyethylenedioxythiophene-polystyrenesulfonate

Baytron® P is produced and sold by H.C. Starck a subsidiary of the Bayer Group. Baytron® P is a water solution that is 1.3% of the conjugated polymer PEDOT/PSS. The liquid is dark blue and nearly odorless. We have use two types of PEDOT/PSS for electrodes, Baytron® P and the improved more conductive version Baytron® P HC V2. The conductivity of the regular Baytron® P is about 1 S/cm and the improved is 1-2 S/cm. For the conductivity of PEDOT/PSS as electrodes of PVDF see the applying electrodes page.
